Pediatrics

We love seeing children in our practice!  Our Chiropractors have adjusted patients as new as a few hours old.  The birth process can be traumatic on a newborn's spine.  Many of our adult patients have misalignments in their spine that have been there since birth.  We recommend having your child checked by a Chiropractor as early as possible.  Adjusting techniques are modified for each child's size.  It's much easier to grow healthy kids than to fix injured adults.  Spinal problems that are not addressed during childhood can lead to chronic hard to correct subluxations in adults.  Chiropractic care for children has been shown to help with the following:

  • boosting the immune system

  • improving breastfeeding in newborns

  • improving sleep

  • focus and concentration

  • ear infections

  • bed wetting

  • allergies

  • colic

  • ADD/ADHD

  • Autism

  • digestive issues

  • reflux

Prenatal

Pregnancy brings incredible changes to a woman's body. As your baby grows, additional stress is placed on the spine, pelvis, joints, and nervous system. These natural changes can contribute to low back pain, hip pain, pelvic discomfort, sciatica, and changes in posture.

Gentle, pregnancy-safe chiropractic care is designed to help restore proper alignment, improve pelvic balance, and support your body's ability to adapt throughout each stage of pregnancy. Maintaining proper pelvic alignment may also help create an ideal environment for your baby to move into the best possible position for birth.

Many expecting mothers report feeling more comfortable, experiencing improved mobility, better sleep, and less pregnancy-related discomfort with regular chiropractic care. A well-functioning spine and nervous system helps your body perform at its best, supporting both mom and baby throughout pregnancy.

At Maverick Chiropractic, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. Our doctors use specialized techniques and pregnancy-support cushions to ensure every adjustment is gentle, comfortable, and tailored specifically to you and your growing baby.
