Dr. Josh Farmer
My name is Dr. Josh Farmer (Dr. Josh). I am the owner of Maverick Chiropractic. I travel between the Forney and Wills Point locations to serve each community. I graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in 2009. I am proud of the exceptional Chiropractic education and training I have received. My primary focus is on wellness, and I aspire to help people achieve optimal health. I have worked with patients ranging from only a few hours old, to patients well into their 90’s. My adjusting techniques are gentle, specific and thorough. I have mastered a wide range of techniques including Diversified, Drop Techniques, Pediatrics, Activator, and Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT). This allows me to care for you in a manner best suited for what your body requires. I believe you have the right to know how your body works! I will support you in addressing your specific and personal areas of concern in order to help you reach and maintain optimal health.
I was born and spent most of my childhood in New Mexico. After graduating high school, I attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. This is where I met my beautiful wife, Mandi, who is from Arlington, TX. After I completed Chiropractic school in Dallas, we decided to move to Australia. I was employed by Total Lifestyle Chiropractic in Australia for seven years and was fortunate to serve and help many people.
Our family has grown since we left Texas eight years ago with the addition of our six-year-old daughter, Mckinley, our five-year-old son, Kyler, and our newest addition, Kolbie. My spare time is mainly spent on reading, cycling, soccer, volleyball, church, and spending quality time with my family. I am passionate about education and sharing my knowledge with the community. I am available for speaking engagements at your school, workplace, church group, or community group.
I look forward to meeting and supporting you and your family on your journey for health and wellness. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve you.
Dr. Chelsea Hirsch
My name is Dr. Chelsea Hirsch. I am a Chiropractor at the Forney location. I grew up and graduated from Forney High School in 2002. I studied at the University of North Texas and Dallas Community Colleges until beginning Parker Chiropractic College. I graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in 2009. I owned and operated Forney Chiropractic from 2009 - January 2017 when Dr. Josh Farmer transitioned the practice to Maverick Chiropractic. Because of my growing family, I decided to work part time so I could spend more time with my family, as well as continue to serve the community with Chiropractic and Acupuncture care. In my spare time I love watching sports, spending time with my family outside, and attending First Baptist Forney.
It will continue to be a privilege to care for the community of Forney, and I look forward to for many years to come.
Dr. Janine Miller
Hello, my name is Dr. Janine Miller. I have been caring for patients in Wills Point, Texas for the past year and look forward to many years to come. I have always enjoyed helping people and knew that I wanted to work in the health care profession. In the late 1980's, I went to work in a Chiropractic clinic. Upon starting, I did not have any knowledge of Chiropractic; however, within six months I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was truly amazed at seeing the results of our patients.
Since graduating from Parker Chiropractic University in 1994, I have in excess of 20 years' experience in clinical practice. I utilize several gentle techniques such as: Diversified, Thompson Drop, Flexion/Distraction, and Activator. Additionally, I have extensive experience with upper/lower extremity adjustments, one-on-one active/passive physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation (spinal and extremities) and Relaxation Muscle Therapy.
I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church, reading and practicing Bikram Yoga. I am from the DFW area and spend half of the week in East Texas with my family.
My passion is "Improving the Quality of Life through Chiropractic Care."
Bethany Ferson, LMT
Hi, my name is Bethany. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist working at our Wills Point location. I was born and raised in the sunny, arid desert of Phoenix, Arizona, but made my way out to Texas with my folks back in 2007. I graduated from Parker University School of Massage Therapy back in 2013 and have been massaging ever since. I enjoy doing custom massages suited to the individual needs of the person, whether that be deep work on a specific area or addressing the body as a whole.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, playing online, making and wearing costumes, and spending time with my chicken babies.
My name is Brianna. I am a CA at Maverick Chiropractic Forney. I am from small town Harrisburg, Oregon where I was raised to love the outdoors and everything about it. I moved to the great state of Texas in 2003 where I've spent most of my life learning that everything is BIGGER in Texas, except the mountains of course. Growing up in Forney, Texas has been such a blessing! Forney is where I am raising my son, Isaih, to love the outdoors and nature just has much as I do. As a family we love to travel back home to Oregon as much as possible and any other place that gets us outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, or swimming.
Hi, my name is Mandi Farmer! I am a floating CA, and I work where needed. I grew up in Arlington, TX. I met and fell in love with my husband, Dr. Josh, while attending Texas Tech University. I graduated from Texas Tech in 2006. Josh and I were married the following year, while he was in the middle of Chiropractic school in Dallas, Texas. After Josh graduated from Parker, we decided to be adventurous and move to Australia, where we lived for seven years! We had our first two children while living in Australia. In July 2016 Josh and I decided to move back to the States to be closer to family. We took a three month road trip with our 5 and 4 year old in a (very) small camper around the USA, covering over 11,000 miles (and I'd just found out we were pregnant with our 3rd!). After much thought and prayer, we settled in Forney, TX at the beginning of 2017. We love Forney's small-town feel and the friendly people!
In 2007 I suffered from weekly migraines. After Josh started his clinic classes at Parker, I began to get regularly adjusted for the first time in my life. Slowly, my migraines started to disappear! I also noticed many other benefits from regular Chiropractic care. I love working in the office because I get to hear SO many stories of the body healing itself after adjustments and people getting their lives back. I believe regular Chiropractic care is essential for the body to function the way God intended.
I am a photographer. I enjoy exercising (if friends are present), movie nights, watching Fixer Upper, spending time with my family, anything crafty, essential oils, getting involved at church, serving others, and trips to the beach. I love creating healthy meals for my family and aspire to have my own "clean" café one day! I enjoy working in the practice and connecting with our patients. I am not in the office much as I am spending time with our newest addition, Kolbie.
Hi, my name is Melissa Daniels. My family and I reside in the small town of Wills Point. We have been here since 2003. We are a blended family of his ,mine, and ours. I love spending time with them along with our 4 grandchildren. When I am not spending time with my family I enjoy crafting , painting and sitting down with a good book. We love our little town and I look forward to serving you as your CA at Maverick Chiropractic Wills Point.
Hi, my name is Erica Rose. I am a massage therapist at our Forney location, personal trainer, fitness instructor, owner of Fit Movement and, most importantly, mom to three amazing children. I grew up in Kaufman, but I moved to Forney in 2006. I worked at a local gym for over 10 years as a class instructor and as a personal trainer. My career in the fitness industry is what led me to massage therapy. The amount of overuse injuries that I saw plus realizing the importance of myofascial release made me want to learn more. The desire to be able to really help someone live pain-free and have proper range of motion led me to massage therapy school. I use a variety of modalities to ensure the best outcome for the client. Whether doing Swedish (relaxing) or deep tissue, I take great pride and fulfillment in knowing that I am helping every person physically, mentally, and emotionally through massage.
When I’m not teaching fitness classes or massaging, I am busy being a mom. I love coaching my daughter’s cheer squad as well as watching my children compete/perform in their various sports and activities. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to church, working out, and dancing. I know how busy our lives can be, but I also understand how important it is to slow down and take care of ourselves. I look forward to helping you achieve your desired outcome through massage.
